There are many stores such as a long-established store, a department store, a specialty store, a restaurant in the East of Shinjuku Station and you may always see many people.

Studio Alta and the police box are the mitting places that are famous in Shinjuku.

In the north side of Shinjuku Station, Kabukicho area, a lot of restaurant and hotels form an entertainment district.

In the south side of Shinjuku Station, a skyscraper or a large-sized department store were built in sequence by redevelopment.

There are many high-rise buildings including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office in the west side of shinjuku.

The building of the vocational school has unique appearance gets a lot of attention from people recently.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office
It is a twin tower of 243 meters. It include the government function of the capital of Tokyo. The observatory in the 45th floor is opened generally free. You can look at Mt. Fuji and the night view.

Open daily 9:30 to 23:00 (south observatory until 17:30), except December 29-31, January 2-3
